Camping at Barber
We will be camping in Tent Lot B at the Barber Motorsports Park, but those spots have SOLD OUT. You will need to come up with other accomodations in Birmhinham. Sorry for the invoncenience.

Riding with the Kissell Crew
If you want to join us for the ride down, we ask that you sign up here. We'll provide you with GPX tracks and a complimentary KMS t-shirt made just for this ride.
 

Lodging Along the Route
In addition to reserving a spot at Barber, you'll need to make your own reservations (hotel, camping) for the stops along the way.

We'll share more details about the trip as we get closer, but for now, it's important that you start reserving campsites/hotels before they're all booked.
 

PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE

October 4th

We will leave from the Kissell Motorsports parking lot at 5am on Wednesday, October 4th. If you're linking up with us from out of town, you can spend the prior night at the Comfort Suites off of the Pinecroft exit at a discounted rate if you mention Kissell Motorsports.

On our way south, we will ride US 20 in WV and the Back of the Dragon. The ride will end in Hungry Mother State Park / Marion, VA. See route here.

We will be camping at the Royal Oak Campground, but you are welcome to find a hotel in Marion, VA if that's your preference.

October 5th

We'll leave Hungry Mother State Park and head for Tennessee. Along the way, we'll stop for lunch in Gatlinburg before riding the Tail of the Dragon and the Cherohala Skyway. See route here.

We'll finish in Tellico Plains, TN and camp at Smitty's Lodge Motorcycle Campground. Again, you're welcome to find other lodging as desired.

October 6th

We'll leave early Friday morning to reach the Barber Motorcycle Park by mid-afternoon. See the route here.

We will be camping there, but space is limited and should sell out fast. If you want to reserve a camping site or RV site at Barber Motorsports Park, you'll need to act fast! Keep reading for registration information.

October 7th and 8th

We'll have 2 full days at the 2023 BMW Motorrad Days Americas at Barber Vintage Festival! This is the first time the event has been hosted in the United States, plus it will mark the 100th anniversary of BMW Motorrad. That combined with the always incredible Barber Vintage Festival will make for an unforgettable weekend.

Stay tuned for exhibit, attraction, and activity information!
 

October 9th and 10th

We'll start our return journey on Monday. The goal will be to hop on the highways and get close to halfway home on the 9th before finding a motel to rest up for the final leg. We'll complete the trip home on Tuesday, October 10th.
